- Launch it from Applications. First time only: right-click the app → Open → Open (the standard one-time step macOS shows for apps from independent developers).
- An
adon $0.00item appears in your menu bar. Done.
Link it to your dashboard
- Open the dashboard, expand Connect, and copy your API key.

How it works & privacy
- Claude Code — exact token counts from your local session logs.
- Cursor — AI activity + estimated tokens from Cursor's local database (Cursor doesn't expose exact counts).
- Reads only usage metadata — never your code or prompts. Only aggregated usage syncs to your dashboard, over HTTPS.
- adonterminal shows what you spend. It never pays you, or gives credits, to view ads.
Developer / advanced: prefer to run from source? Download the Python script version (includes a build script for the .app).
